Lito: the tactile data layer for physical AI
Robots can see. They still can't feel. Lito is a robotics data lab in Oslo, Norway, that collects the training data robots need to handle real objects.
What we do
Lito builds wireless handheld grippers that record how people do real manipulation tasks, from the same view and grip a robot will have. Each recording captures stereo video, motion, gripper opening and, next, touch on the fingertips. Our pipeline checks every session automatically and turns it into training-ready datasets for robotics labs and companies.
How it works
Capture: handheld grippers record people doing real tasks. QA and pre-processing: every session is checked automatically and processed into training data. Delivery: data lands in your pipeline in the format you train on, with provenance you can audit.
